My story
I was born on February 12, 1982, in San Juan del Cesar, La Guajira, Colombia, but my life was shaped between two worlds. My roots lie between the warm northern coast of Colombia, inherited from my mother, and in the country’s central region, where my father comes from.
I grew up in Bogotá, a city that gave me opportunities while always maintaining a deep connection to the traditions, music, and joyful spirit of the Caribbean coast. That duality between the Guajira highlands and the capital defined my identity from the very beginning.
Professionally, I have spent my entire career in Information Technology, a field that has equipped me with logical thinking and a structured approach. However, my true passion has always been understanding the world and people.
From a young age, I have been drawn to philosophy and politics, searching for answers about how we function as a society.
A few years ago, I discovered a tool that brought all my interests together: photography.
Through the lens, I found a powerful voice and learned to love this art deeply in a short time, becoming my main hobby and a fundamental means of expression.
Today, my greatest aspiration is to become an street and documentary photographer. My goal is not only to capture images but to tell meaningful stories, to preserve fleeting moments and events so they endure over time.
I dream that my work will allow others to discover, connect with, and share fragments of human reality that might otherwise go unnoticed.
